Gene Full Name:

Gene Infomation:This gene encodes one of four subunits of the splicingfactor 3B. The protein encoded by this gene cross-links to a regionin the pre-mRNA immediately upstream of the branchpoint sequence inpre-mRNA in the prespliceosomal complex A. It also may be involvedin the assembly of the B, C and E spliceosomal complexes. Inaddition to RNA-binding activity, this protein interacts directlyand highly specifically with subunit 2 of the splicing factor 3B.This protein contains two N-terminal RNA-recognition motifs (RRMs),consistent with the observation that it binds directly to pre-mRNA.

Antigen:This SF3B4 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 158-187 amino acids from the Central region of human SF3B4.

Buffer condition:Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is purified through a protein A column, followed by peptide affinity purification.

Background:

Molar Function:

Western Blot:

Stability: The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37°C for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

Storage: Store at 4°C for frequent use. Stored at -20°C in a manual defrost freezer for one year without detectable loss of activity. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Notes: For In vitro laboratory use only. Not for any clinical, therapeutic, or diagnostic use in humans or animals. Not for animal or human consumption.
