Gene Full Name:

Gene Infomation:This gene is one of several genes encodingpulmonary-surfactant associated proteins (SFTPA) located onchromosome 10. Mutations in this gene and a highly similar genelocated nearby, which affect the highly conserved carbohydraterecognition domain, are associated with idiopathic pulmonaryfibrosis. The current version of the assembly displays only asingle centromeric SFTPA gene pair rather than the two gene pairsshown in the previous assembly which were thought to have resultedfrom a duplication.

Antigen:This SFTPA2B antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 174-202 amino acids from the C-terminal region of human SFTPA2B.

Buffer condition:Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is purified through a protein A column, followed by peptide affinity purification.

Background:

Molar Function:

Western Blot:

Stability: The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37°C for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

Storage: Store at 4°C for frequent use. Stored at -20°C in a manual defrost freezer for one year without detectable loss of activity. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Notes: For In vitro laboratory use only. Not for any clinical, therapeutic, or diagnostic use in humans or animals. Not for animal or human consumption.
