Gene Infomation:Normal blood lactate is maintained at about 1.5 mM, andlittle filtered lactate is excreted in urine. Reabsorption oflactate is mediated by the low-affinity Na(+)-coupled lactatetransporter SLC5A12 in the initial part of the proximal tubule andby the high-affinity Na(+)-coupled lactate transporter SLC5A8 (MIM608044) in the distal proximal tubule (Gopal et al., 2007 [PubMed17692818]).

Antigen:This SLC5A12 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 576-605 amino acids from the C-terminal region of human SLC5A12.

Stability: The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37°C for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

Storage: Store at 4°C for frequent use. Stored at -20°C in a manual defrost freezer for one year without detectable loss of activity. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
