Gene Infomation:This gene encodes a member of the sodium/calcium exchangerintegral membrane protein family. Three mammalian isoforms infamily 8 have been identified. Na+/Ca2+ exchange proteins areinvolved in maintaining Ca2+ homeostasis in a wide variety of celltypes. The protein is regulated by intracellular calcium ions andis found in both the plasma membrane and intracellular organellarmembranes, where exchange of Na+ for Ca2+ occurs in an electrogenicmanner. Alternative splicing has been observed for this gene andmultiple variants have been described.

Antigen:This SLC8A3 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 585-614 amino acids from the C-terminal region of human SLC8A3.

Stability: The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37°C for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

Storage: Store at 4°C for frequent use. Stored at -20°C in a manual defrost freezer for one year without detectable loss of activity. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
