Gene Infomation:SPP1 binds tightly to hydroxyapatite. The protein appears to form an integral part of the mineralized matrix and probably important to cell-matrix interaction. It acts as a cytokine involved in enhancing production of interferon-gamma and interleukin-12 and reducing production of interleukin-10 and is essential in the pathway that leads to type I immunity.

Antigen:This SPP1 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 273-301 amino acids from the C-terminal region of human SPP1.

Stability: The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37°C for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

Storage: Store at 4°C for frequent use. Stored at -20°C in a manual defrost freezer for one year without detectable loss of activity. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
