Gene Full Name:

Gene Infomation:This gene is a member of the STEAP family and encodes amulti-pass membrane protein that localizes to the Golgi complex, the plasma membrane, and the vesicular tubular structures in thecytosol. A highly similar protein in mouse has both ferrireductaseand cupric reductase activity, and stimulates the cellular uptakeof both iron and copper in vitro. Increased transcriptionalexpression of the human gene is associated with prostate cancerprogression. Alternate transcriptional splice variants, encodingdifferent isoforms, have been characterized.

Antigen:This STEA2 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 226-253 amino acids from the Central region of human STEA2.

Buffer condition:Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is purified through a protein A column, followed by peptide affinity purification.

Background:

Molar Function:

Western Blot:

Stability: The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37°C for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

Storage: Store at 4°C for frequent use. Stored at -20°C in a manual defrost freezer for one year without detectable loss of activity. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Notes: For In vitro laboratory use only. Not for any clinical, therapeutic, or diagnostic use in humans or animals. Not for animal or human consumption.
