Gene Full Name:
Gene Infomation:This gene encodes a type 1 transmembrane protein thatmediates Ca2+ influx after depletion of intracellular Ca2+ storesby gating of store-operated Ca2+ influx channels (SOCs). It is oneof several genes located in the imprinted gene domain of 11p15.5,an important tumor-suppressor gene region. Alterations in thisregion have been associated with the Beckwith-Wiedemann syndrome,Wilms tumor, rhabdomyosarcoma, adrenocrotical carcinoma, and lung, ovarian, and breast cancer. This gene may play a role inmalignancies and disease that involve this region, as well as earlyhematopoiesis, by mediating attachment to stromal cells. This geneis oriented in a head-to-tail configuration with the ribonucleotidereductase 1 gene (RRM1), with the 3' end of this gene situated 1.6kb from the 5' end of the RRM1 gene.
Antigen:This STIM1 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 509-538 amino acids from the C-terminal region of human STIM1.

Buffer condition:Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is purified through a protein A column, followed by peptide affinity purification.
Background:
Molar Function:
Western Blot:Stability: The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37°C for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
Storage: Store at 4°C for frequent use. Stored at -20°C in a manual defrost freezer for one year without detectable loss of activity. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Notes: For In vitro laboratory use only. Not for any clinical, therapeutic, or diagnostic use in humans or animals. Not for animal or human consumption.
