Gene Full Name:
Gene Infomation:Sulfotransferase enzymes catalyze the sulfate conjugationof many hormones, neurotransmitters, drugs, and xenobioticcompounds. These cytosolic enzymes are different in their tissuedistributions and substrate specificities. The gene structure(number and length of exons) is similar among family members. Thisgene encodes a phenol sulfotransferase with thermolabile enzymeactivity. Four sulfotransferase genes are located on the p arm ofchromosome 16; this gene and SULT1A4 arose from a segmentalduplication. This gene is the most centromeric of the foursulfotransferase genes. Read-through transcription exists betweenthis gene and the upstream SLX1A (SLX1 structure-specificendonuclease subunit homolog A) gene that encodes a proteincontaining GIY-YIG domains.
Antigen:This SULT1A3 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 67-95 amino acids from the Central region of human SULT1A3.

Buffer condition:Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is purified through a protein A column, followed by peptide affinity purification.
Background:
Molar Function:
Western Blot:Stability: The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37°C for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
Storage: Store at 4°C for frequent use. Stored at -20°C in a manual defrost freezer for one year without detectable loss of activity. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Notes: For In vitro laboratory use only. Not for any clinical, therapeutic, or diagnostic use in humans or animals. Not for animal or human consumption.
