Gene Full Name:

Gene Infomation:HRD1 is a ubiquitin ligase whose expression is induced by the unfolded protein response (UPR) following endoplasmic reticulum stress. Expression of HRD1 protects cells from apoptosis by inducing degradation of abnormally processed proteins that accumulate in the endoplasmic reticulum. HRD1 is expressed in many tissues, strongly expressed in brain, pancreas, liver, kidney and skeletal muscle. Amano T, et al. reported that Synoviolin/Hrd1 (expressed in rheumatoid synovium) is a novel causative factor for arthropathy by triggering synovial cell outgrowth through its antiapoptotic effects. HRD1 contains one ring-type zinc finger.

Antigen:This SYVN1 (HRD1) antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 586-617 amino acids from the C-terminal region of human SYVN1 (HRD1).

Buffer condition:Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is purified through a protein G column, eluted with high and low pH buffers and neutralized immediately, followed by dialysis against PBS.

Background:

Molar Function:

Western Blot:

Stability: The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37°C for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

Storage: Store at 4°C for frequent use. Stored at -20°C in a manual defrost freezer for one year without detectable loss of activity. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Notes: For In vitro laboratory use only. Not for any clinical, therapeutic, or diagnostic use in humans or animals. Not for animal or human consumption.
