Gene Full Name:
Gene Infomation:This gene encodes a transmembrane glycoprotein whichmediates interaction between newly assembled majorhistocompatibility complex (MHC) class I molecules and thetransporter associated with antigen processing (TAP), which isrequired for the transport of antigenic peptides across theendoplasmic reticulum membrane. This interaction is essential foroptimal peptide loading on the MHC class I molecule. Up to fourcomplexes of MHC class I and this protein may be bound to a singleTAP molecule. This protein contains a C-terminal double-lysinemotif (KKKAE) known to maintain membrane proteins in theendoplasmic reticulum. This gene lies within the majorhistocompatibility complex on chromosome 6. Alternative splicingresults in three transcript variants encoding different isoforms.
Antigen:This TAPBP antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 42-70 amino acids from the N-terminal region of human TAPBP.

Buffer condition:Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is purified through a protein A column, followed by peptide affinity purification.
Background:
Molar Function:
Western Blot:Stability: The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37°C for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
Storage: Store at 4°C for frequent use. Stored at -20°C in a manual defrost freezer for one year without detectable loss of activity. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Notes: For In vitro laboratory use only. Not for any clinical, therapeutic, or diagnostic use in humans or animals. Not for animal or human consumption.
