Background:

Molar Function:TP53I11 is a 177 amino acid tumor suppressor belonging to the p53-induced protein gene (PIG) family. The PIG gene family encodes redox-controlling proteins that are involved in p53 tumor suppressor activity. It is suggested that PIG11 is involved in arsenic trioxide As(2)O(3)-induced apoptosis in certain cell lines and may play a significant role in tumor suppression through promotion of cell apoptosis. The gene encoding PIG11 maps to human chromosome 11, which houses over 1,400 genes and comprises nearly 4% of the human genome.

Western Blot:

Stability: The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37°C for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

Storage: Store at 4°C for frequent use. Stored at -20°C in a manual defrost freezer for one year without detectable loss of activity. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Notes: For In vitro laboratory use only. Not for any clinical, therapeutic, or diagnostic use in humans or animals. Not for animal or human consumption.
