Gene Full Name:
Gene Infomation:This gene encodes a member of the TNF receptor associatedfactor (TRAF) family. TRAF proteins are associated with, andmediate signal transduction from members of the TNF receptorsuperfamily. The encoded protein has been shown to interact withneurotrophin receptor, p75 (NTR/NTSR1), and negatively regulate NTRinduced cell death and NF-kappa B activation. This protein has beenfound to bind to p47phox, a cytosolic regulatory factor included ina multi-protein complex known as NAD(P)H oxidase. This proteinthus, is thought to be involved in the oxidative activation ofMAPK8/JNK. Alternatively spliced transcript variants have beenobserved but the full-length nature of only one has beendetermined.
Antigen:This TRAF4 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 427-455 amino acids from the C-terminal region of human TRAF4.

Buffer condition:Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is purified through a protein A column, followed by peptide affinity purification.
Background:
Molar Function:
Western Blot:Stability: The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37°C for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
Storage: Store at 4°C for frequent use. Stored at -20°C in a manual defrost freezer for one year without detectable loss of activity. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Notes: For In vitro laboratory use only. Not for any clinical, therapeutic, or diagnostic use in humans or animals. Not for animal or human consumption.
