Gene Full Name:

Gene Infomation:Thyrotropin-releasing hormone (TRH; MIM 275120), a smallneuropeptide, is widely distributed throughout the central andperipheral nervous system as well as in extraneural tissues. Thepeptide is synthesized in the hypothalamus and transported by theportal vascular system to the anterior pituitary where it acts onthyrotropic and lactotropic cells to promote secretion of TSH andprolactin, respectively. Thyrotropin-releasing hormone receptor isa G protein-coupled receptor that activates the inositolphospholipid-calcium-protein kinase C transduction pathway upon thebinding of TRH. The TRHR gene is expressed in the thyrotrope cellsof the anterior pituitary.

Antigen:This TRHR antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 209-238 amino acids from the Central region of human TRHR.

Buffer condition:Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is purified through a protein A column, followed by peptide affinity purification.

Background:

Molar Function:

Western Blot:

Stability: The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37°C for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

Storage: Store at 4°C for frequent use. Stored at -20°C in a manual defrost freezer for one year without detectable loss of activity. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Notes: For In vitro laboratory use only. Not for any clinical, therapeutic, or diagnostic use in humans or animals. Not for animal or human consumption.
