Background:

Molar Function:Catalytic subunit of tRNA (adenine-N1-)-methyltransferase, which catalyzes the formation of N1-methyladenine at position 58 (m1A58) in initiator methionyl-tRNA (PubMed:16043508). Catalytic subunit of mRNA N1-methyltransferase complex, which mediates methylation of adenosine residues at the N1 position of a small subset of mRNAs: N1 methylation takes place in tRNA T-loop-like structures of mRNAs and is only present at low stoichiometries (PubMed:29107537, PubMed:29072297).

Western Blot:

Stability: The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37°C for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

Storage: Store at 4°C for frequent use. Stored at -20°C in a manual defrost freezer for one year without detectable loss of activity. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Notes: For In vitro laboratory use only. Not for any clinical, therapeutic, or diagnostic use in humans or animals. Not for animal or human consumption.
