Gene Full Name:

Gene Infomation:TRPM8 is a receptor-activated non-selective cation channel involved in detection of sensations such as coolness, by being activated by cold temperature below 25 degrees Celsius. It is activated by icilin, eucalyptol, menthol, cold and modulation of intracellular pH and involved in menthol sensation. It is permeable for monovalent cations sodium, potassium, and cesium and divalent cation calcium.

Antigen:This TRPM8 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 521-552 amino acids from the Central region of human TRPM8.

Storage:

Buffer condition:Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is prepared by Saturated Ammonium Sulfate (SAS) precipitation followed by dialysis against PBS.

Background:

Molar Function:

Western Blot:

Stability: The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37°C for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

Storage: Store at 4°C for frequent use. Stored at -20°C in a manual defrost freezer for one year without detectable loss of activity. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Notes: For In vitro laboratory use only. Not for any clinical, therapeutic, or diagnostic use in humans or animals. Not for animal or human consumption.
