Gene Infomation:E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase that accepts ubiquitin from the E2 ubiquitin-conjugating enzyme UBE2D1 in the form of a thioester and then directly transfers the ubiquitin to targeted substrates. Can assemble unanchored poly-ubiquitin chains in either 'Lys-29'-or 'Lys-48'-linked polyubiquitin chains. Has preference for 'Lys-48' linkages. It can target itself for ubiquitination in vitro and may promote its own degradation in vivo.

Antigen:This UBE3C antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 549-578 amino acids from the Central region of human UBE3C.

Stability: The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37°C for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

Storage: Store at 4°C for frequent use. Stored at -20°C in a manual defrost freezer for one year without detectable loss of activity. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
