Gene Full Name:

Gene Infomation:The protein encoded by this gene converts UDP-glucose toUDP-glucuronate and thereby participates in the biosynthesis ofglycosaminoglycans such as hyaluronan, chondroitin sulfate, andheparan sulfate. These glycosylated compounds are common componentsof the extracellular matrix and likely play roles in signaltransduction, cell migration, and cancer growth and metastasis. Theexpression of this gene is up-regulated by transforming growthfactor beta and down-regulated by hypoxia. Alternative splicingresults in multiple transcript variants.

Antigen:This UGDH antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 465-494 amino acids from the C-terminal region of human UGDH.

Buffer condition:Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is purified through a protein A column, followed by peptide affinity purification.

Background:

Molar Function:

Western Blot:

Stability: The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37°C for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

Storage: Store at 4°C for frequent use. Stored at -20°C in a manual defrost freezer for one year without detectable loss of activity. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Notes: For In vitro laboratory use only. Not for any clinical, therapeutic, or diagnostic use in humans or animals. Not for animal or human consumption.
