Gene Infomation:This gene encodes a deubiquitinating enzyme that isphosphorylated at the onset of mitosis and then dephosphorylated atthe metaphase/anaphase transition. It can deubiquitinate H2A, oneof two major ubiquitinated proteins of chromatin, in vitro and amutant form of the protein was shown to block cell division.Alternate transcriptional splice variants, encoding differentisoforms, have been characterized.

Western Blot:Stability: The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37°C for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed.
