Gene Full Name:

Gene Infomation:The protein encoded by this gene is a member of theplatelet-derived growth factor/vascular endothelial growth factor(PDGF/VEGF) family, is active in angiogenesis and endothelial cellgrowth, and can also affect the permeability of blood vessels. This secreted protein undergoes a complex proteolytic maturation, generating multiple processed forms which bind and activate VEGFR-3receptors. Only the fully processed form can bind and activateVEGFR-2 receptors. This protein is structurally and functionallysimilar to vascular endothelial growth factor D. [provided byRefSeq].

Antigen:This VEGFC monoclonal antibody is generated from mouse immunized with VEGFC recombinant protein.

Storage:

Buffer condition:Purified monoclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is purified through a protein G column, eluted with high and low pH buffers and neutralized immediately, followed by dialysis against PBS.

Background:

Molar Function:

Western Blot:

Stability: The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37°C for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

Storage: Store at 4°C for frequent use. Stored at -20°C in a manual defrost freezer for one year without detectable loss of activity. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Notes: For In vitro laboratory use only. Not for any clinical, therapeutic, or diagnostic use in humans or animals. Not for animal or human consumption.
