Gene Full Name:

Gene Infomation:The WNT gene family consists of structurally related geneswhich encode secreted signaling proteins. These proteins have beenimplicated in oncogenesis and in several developmental processes, including regulation of cell fate and patterning duringembryogenesis. This gene is a member of the WNT gene family. Itencodes a protein which shows 95%, 86% and 71% amino acid identityto the mouse, zebrafish and Xenopus Wnt8B proteins, respectively. The expression patterns of the human and mouse genes appearidentical and are restricted to the developing brain. Thechromosomal location of this gene to 10q24 suggests it as acandidate gene for partial epilepsy.

Antigen:This WNT8B antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 323-351 amino acids from the C-terminal region of human WNT8B.

Buffer condition:Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is purified through a protein A column, followed by peptide affinity purification.

Background:

Molar Function:

Western Blot:

Stability: The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37°C for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.

Storage: Store at 4°C for frequent use. Stored at -20°C in a manual defrost freezer for one year without detectable loss of activity. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Notes: For In vitro laboratory use only. Not for any clinical, therapeutic, or diagnostic use in humans or animals. Not for animal or human consumption.
