Gene Full Name:
Gene Infomation:YTHDF2 is a member of the YTH (YT521-B homology)superfamily containing YTH domain. The YTH domain is typical forthe eukaryotes and is particularly abundant in plants. The YTHdomain is usually located in the middle of the protein sequence andmay function in binding to RNA. In addition to a YTH domain, thisprotein has a proline rich region which may be involved in signaltransduction. An Alu-rich domain has been identified in one of theintrons of this gene, which is thought to be associated with humanlongevity. In addition, reciprocal translocations between this geneand the Runx1 (AML1) gene on chromosme 21 has been observed inpatients with acute myeloid leukemia. This gene was initiallymapped to chromosome 14, which was later turned out to be apseudogene.
Antigen:This YTHD2 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 551-579 amino acids from the C-terminal region of human YTHD2.

Buffer condition:Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is purified through a protein A column, followed by peptide affinity purification.
Background:
Molar Function:
Western Blot:Stability: The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37°C for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
Storage: Store at 4°C for frequent use. Stored at -20°C in a manual defrost freezer for one year without detectable loss of activity. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Notes: For In vitro laboratory use only. Not for any clinical, therapeutic, or diagnostic use in humans or animals. Not for animal or human consumption.
