Synonyms | CD200R,Mox2r,OX2R |
Molecular Weight | The recombinant mouse CD200R1/Fc is a disulfide-linked homodimer after removal of the signal peptide. The reduced monomer consists of 462 amino acids and has a predicted molecular mass of 51.3 kDa. In SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, the apparent molecular mass of rmCD200R1/Fc monomer is approximately 90-100 kDa due to glycosylation. |
predicted N | Thr 21 |
SDS-PAGE | |
Purity | > 97 % as determined by SDS-PAGE |
Protein Construction | A DNA sequence encoding the extracellular domain (Met 1-Pro 238) of mouse CD200R1 (NP_067300.1) precursor was fused with the Fc region of human IgG1 at the C-terminus. |
Bio-activity | Measured by its binding ability in a functional ELISA . Immobilized recombinant mouse CD200 at 1 μg/ml (100 μl/well) can bind mouse CD200R1/Fc with a linear range of 1.5-200 ng/ml. |

Formulation | Lyophilized from sterile PBS, pH 7.4 1. Normally 5 % - 8 % trehalose, mannitol and 0.01% Tween80 are added as protectants before lyophilization. Specific concentrations are included in the hardcopy of COA. |
Background | The cluster of differentiation (CD) system is commonly used as cell markers in immunophynotyping. Different kinds of cells in the immune system can be identified through the surface CD molecules which associating with the immune function of the cell. There are more than 320 CD unique clusters and subclusters have been identified. Some of the CD molecules serve as receptors or ligands important to the cell through initiating a signal cascade which then alter the behavior of the cell. Some CD proteins do not take part in cell signal process but have other functions such as cell adhesion. Cell surface glycoprotein CD200 receptor 1 (CD200R1) is an isoform of CD200 receptors which is expressed on cells of the myeloid lineage. CD200R1 is a receptor for the OX-2 membrane glycoprotein. The receptor-substrate interaction may serve as a myeloid downregulatory signal. |
